Graystone owner, Ed Pynnonen, has over 30 years in home building and land development. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and followed with a Master of Business Administration.

Directly out of college, Ed was hired by Bill Pulte, founder of Pulte Homes in the Detroit area. Ed began his career as a superintendent for Pulte Homes walking home construction sites, identifying and correcting potential construction issues, directing subcontractors, and getting the homes built well, on time, and in budget. He was quickly promoted to subdivision project manager. After several years, Ed moved to the Grand Rapids area with his young family and became the division president of Pulte Homes West Michigan.

He was responsible for land purchase, development, product specification, sales, warranty and the overall wellbeing of the company. After a successful career with Pulte, Ed took an opportunity with Eastbrook Homes as Division President/Partner. Over the course of his career, Ed has built over 3 thousand homes! Ed and his wife, Anne, have made their home in West Michigan for 24 years raising three wonderful kids.

Sales Consultant Arija Wilcox has worked with a broad range of properties from urban condos to single family home developments for over 20 years. Scott Newberg has been a figure in the building industry for 26 years, starting his journey in high school while working for a local lumberyard. Scott’s career began as an estimator for building product suppliers where he honed his skills in accurately assessing project costs and material requirements. His dedication and proficiency led him to serve as a project consultant for both residential and commercial contractors, offering guidance on the intricacies of construction projects.

Scott’s passion and talent extended beyond consultancy, He ventured into architectural design, Scott has been involved in a wide range of projects, including Commercial, Civil, Environmental, Historical Renovation, Adaptive Reuse, Single and Multifamily Residential endeavors, with a keen focus on sustainable design practices.

Scott’s commitment to sustainable design is evident through his LEED certification, underlining his dedication to environmentally friendly building practices. Additionally, he is a member of the NFBA (National Frame Builders Association), further contributing to his reputation as an industry expert.

Scott Newberg resides on the Kalamazoo River in Plainwell, Michigan, where he finds inspiration in nature. He is a devoted father of five, emphasizing his strong family values and sense of responsibility.

Project Manager Rob Milano got his residential builders license in 1981 while still in high school. Rob earned his Bachelors of Science in Construction Management from Ferris State University and also holds an Associate Degree in Building Construction Technology as well as an Associate Degree in Real Estate.
